A Patent is a kind of monopoly granted to an inventor in a given territory within a certain period of time. The Patent Office of the Republic of Poland is issued in Poland for patent decisions. By obtaining a patent, the right to exclusive use of the invention is acquired in a commercial or professional way throughout the territory of the Republic of Poland. The Patent confers on the rightholder the exclusive right to manufacture, use, offer for sale and import the product or the application of an invention-based method. The patent holder may also prohibit such actions by other entities not having his consent. The patents granted are subject to registration in the patent register. Patents are published in the "Patent Office". Proof of the patent is the patent document.
